NEW: Hoses with innovative TPA lining
It is made in one piece ("cast") and therefore absolutely smooth: Our new hoses with innovative TPA lining have optimum flow properties, are energy-saving and easy to clean. Application-optimized PUR compensates for profiling and gives the hose its unique internal smoothness and absence of edges.
The new hose can be combined with a wide range of materials. This makes it further modifiable - for example, in terms of its abrasion and chemical resistance. In addition, the inner lining can be realized with different Shore hardnesses, so that the flexibility of the hose can be individually adapted to the requirements. In contrast to the inline and performance hoses, the color of the inner and outer walls can be changed individually. Additives such as antistatics or UV stabilizers can also be added, or the sliding properties can be further improved.
For the new hoses, we offer firmly cast-on flanges for absolutely tight connections. Further development of the hoses for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries is also being planned.
NEW: Hoses made from bio-based material
We have been aware for a very long time that sustainability is a principle of modern thinking and action, as well as the key to a better future. We want to offer our customers a product alternative that they know for sure is manufactured in a resource-friendly way. That is why we have expanded our product portfolio to include a hose whose material consists largely of bio-based plastic - the Master-PUR L Bio Based.
The Master-PUR L Bio Based consists of a material that has a biobased plastic content of over 50 percent. It is made from corn, sugar cane or cellulose, for example.
Of course, our customers can rely on the proven high Masterflex quality with this hose. The hose has slightly lower abrasion resistance, but is naturally resistant to microbes and hydrolysis.
Another happy customer after successful and promising plastic hose development solutions
When a customer's development project has been successfully realized and the development solution even promises new design ideas for industrial applications, the eyes of Niels Mitzlaff, Director of R & D Tubing at Masterflex Group subsidiary Novoplast Schlauchtechnik, understandably light up. With some development solutions, even the plastic hose lights up in the end. The companies Sitraplas GmbH and Novoplast Schlauchtechnik have combined their expertise in the production of light-diffusing and light-scattering compounds as well as customer-specific hose extrusion for the project of light guide manufacturer Mentror.
Meanwhile, the result is attracting a lot of attention in the industry
Using the TPE compound Sitralen (EN-Light series), Novoplast Schlauchtechnik has once again acted as the ideal project partner and solution finder, extruding a custom-made flexible tube that impresses with its homogeneous light diffusion, flexibility and high-quality haptic properties. Sitraplas GmbH Sales Manager Frank Puhlmann was highly satisfied with the collaboration.

Extruded tubing systems in the 0.5 to 50 mm diameter range from Novoplast Schlauchtechnik are used in various sectors, including industrial technology, the automotive industry, automation, medical technology and many others.
